Hal Vatcher decided to live a 36 year old dream and spend a winter as a "ski bum" in a ski area. 2011 is the year and Breckenridge, CO is the chosen location. A townhouse was rented from January 5t to April 5th. The house was located 1/2 mile from the main street of Breckenridge, and 1 block from the ski lift.

The "adventure" begins
The first part of my trip was to spend the Christmas holiday with my family in Phoenix, AZ. The SUV was packed, however, so I could go from Phoenix to Colorado without returning to Los Angeles.
